going to test "my sugars"

Going to SF Kaiser to see if I have Gestational Diabeteis. I don't think I do because when the accident occured the ambulance tec stated that my sugar at that time was 89 which was in the normal range.

SIL is going to a bachelortte party so I take back the wonder-con thing I said. Plus I think she would take Hubby as well.

PS We are a go for the move!!! More later!

My co-workers are very thoughtful

This morning there was a random knock on the door. I got a little spooked because I wasn't expecting anything nor was hubby and I don't think the cats ordered anything, though Bindi has been trying to learn how to use the computer for a few weeks by mashing the keyboard buttons with her paws.

So I thought it was a random person asking for money for something. So I decided to wait an hour just to make sure they were gone and check the door. What I found was this:

I haven't eaten any of the cookies but they look yummy! That made my So-So Friday brighter. I sent a thank you note to my Ass. Mgrs to the people who sent it or if its just a random act of kindness from my company.

Daddy Gift and No V8 for my tummy

So the daddy gift arrived. It came at 6:30pm, 12 hrs after being tagged "In Transit". It surprised hubby as I gave it to him because he was not having a good week. It made him smile and forget what a bad week he was having for a little while. I got him a Daddy's Diaper Duty Device "Utility belt".

Contents Include PERSONALIZED name gift tag for no additional charge:
1. Waterproof changing pad
2. Face mask
3. Rubber gloves
4. Protective Safety Glasses
5. Tongs
6. Baby wipes
7. Johnson’s Baby Shampoo 1.5 fl oz
8. Johnson’s Head-To-Toe Baby Wash 1 fl oz
9. Johnson’s Baby Lotion 1 fl oz
10. Johnson’s Baby Powder 1 ½ oz
11. Johnson’s Nourishing Lotion 0.2oz
12. Desitin Cream – Diaper Rash Ointment
13. 4 disposable size one diapers
14. Our original "Baby Rattle" (I got the Neutral Caucasian baby)

Some of the things Hubby asked if I was going to borrow. I was like Maybe, with a little smile. He hasn't opened it yet so it will be fresh for the baby shower when he wears it and then come early June it will definitely be broken in with a few modifications to say the least.

So the next part is kind of yucky.

A couple of nights ago I saw an episode of Unwrapped which is on the food network channel. It featured the V8 and I thought maybe because of the fiber it will help me in regularity. So I told Hubby and last night came with a 6 pack of Light V8. I drank the whole can thinking I am past all my misfortunes with Acid Tomato sauce type things. For a long while Tomato sauce on anything gave me heart burn and upset tummy with the occasional morning sickness. Now it seems that Pizza, though it gives me the heartburn a little, its not 100% aggravates my tummy (I think its the crust that helps). Well my tummy had a bad feeling and instead of waiting for the morning to take my PNV I took it and got very sick with a trail from the hallway to the potty. So I am cut off from anything that has tomato sauce except pizza. I can have sliced Tomatoes and really nothing else now until hubby states 6 months from when Bumpy is born. I guess its better than being sick each and every time, but it still stinks.

A very busy weekend for us and hubby

Well as the kitties snore in sound sleep and bumpy is chill'in in the deep dark cavern that is my uterus, hubby was looking forward to a blissful weekend of a Honey-take-me (fill in the blank) and Wonder-con and a baby show (that was one of the take me places.) but he was going to have Wonder-con Saturday since the baby show is also on Sunday. But I need to go to the hospital's lab and take the glucose tolerance test that is the hour long wait. I was thinking he could sit with me and after put me on the train to at least come close to the house and walk home. And he would have an uninterrupted day at Wonder-con, at least till he got fed up with the fan boys/girls and came home with some comic books and a few pens and then pass out on the couch.

But alas, the weekend was shanghaied by Hubby's BIL calling him asking for some help with the Nephew on Saturday. I suspect that Hubby's sister is going to wonder-con herself and didn't invite Hubby to go with her and her best friend because of my lack of transport, mobility (which is getting a lot better), just my fault.

I have decided to start taking my meds again which is a wise decision since I have been putting them off for over 1 1/2 trimesters. I was sick with morning sickness and because of the high risk of heart defects I wanted to wait till at least everything was A-OK with Bumpy before I took the plunge. I think now is good for that. Getting into the 3rd trimester everything is in place. 1 Strong heart, 2 kidneys, 1 liver, 1 tummy, the brains and the rest of the body parts are in place and kicking. I may have a little worry about the heart still but its been 6 months and green lighted so far. (Crosses my fingers and toes!)

Hubby's daddy gift comes today. It might cheer him up if I give it to him sooner rather than later and make him wear it on the day of my shower. MUAHAHAHA!

A daddy gift is coming tomorrow

Oh in my preggie moment I forgot to post that a daddy gift is coming to me tomorrow for hubby. I am still thinking it should be given at the shower but what are people's thoughts? If I give it to him now it can be a late birthday gift since he is still wanting a popcorn maker. It doesn't look like that will be in my budget for a long while. Maybe Christmas, or maybe sooner if I can budget for something like that in the month of May hee hee. He is also wanting a French Press for coffee, but I don't know if he'd use it as much as the popcorn maker.

Again what are your thoughts on the daddy gift, should it be given now or at the shower?

Slowly creaping to the end of days

So I have come to a blissful end to my "its taking so long" period. Almost like a painter realizing his/her style has almost gone out of fashion with the masses. I have between 98-100 more days. (Eyes Wide Open) I have got a sleeping cat on my legs but thankfully most of the weight is on a pillow next to my legs. And I keep waking it up to do something like move my legs and adjusting some part of my achey body.

I also realized I will be in my 30th/31st week when I return for work. Hopefully by then I will be in a new place that I can just walk to work at that point. But who knows. We haven't heard back from the people yet and I don't know if we are going to.

Hubby stated that he hopes we get the place as it will be quite for the weeks before bumpy gets here and we have at least of month of peace and quite and then the midnight cries of bumpy. I wouldn't mind just not hearing the Chinese Soap Operas, people singing into mics, the washer sounds of upstairs, the upstairs faucets being turned on. And the list goes on and on. Just the piter patter of cats feet as they run up and down the length of the home. That would be nice. I still will have to take a picture of the outside as officially this is a Bump landmark. But not until the last day when everything is set in stone.
