We could have been dead

What a way to start off a post but the heater's pilot light had been out and the heater was on at 70 degrees. Our landlord "fixed" the heater by turning on the pilot light and another fix was to put duct tape on the heater door, like that could have "fixed" a broken door. I am really scared now that I am pregnant that it could have killed one of us or M/C Bump or one of our cats could have passed away or we could have all just died in our sleep. Jeremy is trying to fix it now and I hear it turning on. But I guess we are lucky that we open the windows for our kitties in day light so it could have dissipated. But its very scary. I think we are going to try to find a new place ASAP.
